I have been looking for evidence of death of a 3rd Great Grandfather called Ernest Chapman, who was born in 1872.Apparently swam out from the coast and drowned.Possibly suicide. Body was never found.The story goes he drowned near Skegness, Lincolnshire.Date of death sometime after the Apr 1911 census return.Maybe he actually drowned at Liverpool and he was buried at Cleethorpes.I haven't been able to find a death certificate.
